The dual-driver setup pairs a 10mm dynamic driver with a Knowles Balanced Armature, extending frequency response to 40kHz for Hi-Res Audio reproduction. LDAC codec support enables up to 3x the audio data of standard Bluetooth. Hi-Res Audio certified. Spatial Audio creates a wider, more immersive soundstage. EQ3 Sound gives you three preset listening modes: Signature, Bass Boost, and Balanced, with full custom EQ available via the JLab app.

A USB-C dongle is included in the box, delivering a wired-like 50ms latency connection to any USB-C device - laptops, tablets, gaming handhelds, or any other USB-C host. This makes the Epic Lab Edition one of the few true wireless earbuds that can connect both via Bluetooth and via a low-latency USB-C dongle without any additional purchase.

Hybrid ANC uses both feedforward and feedback microphones to cancel noise from multiple directions. Six MEMS microphones with 2-mic ENC handle call clarity. Be Aware Mode lets in ambient sound when needed. Auto Play/Pause detects when you remove an earbud and pauses automatically.

Battery life sits at 13 hours per earbud with ANC off (9 hours with ANC on), with 56 total hours across the case (36 with ANC on). The case supports Qi v1.2.4 wireless charging and wired charging via USB-C. Quick charge gives you 2 hours of playback from 10 minutes of charging. Standby time exceeds 100 hours.
